As we enter the second week of the Fall session I hope everyone has had a chance to get a good look at the schedules and take note of those weekends when your team will be playing a double-header. Remember, we are playing eight games in seven weekends so some creative scheduling was required.
Looking back on week one I have to say that I saw a lot of really well played games. Our Coaches are doing great work with the kids and I really want to thank them all for the time they put in. I also want to thank all the parents and players for their patience with me and the rest of the NKYA Administrative team as we got this session off the ground. It was a bit of a rush job and of course we've tried to keep registrations open as long as possible so that made finalizing the rosters and schedules tricky. But we're off and running now. Let me know if you have any thoughts on how things are going.
I have at least twenty participants for our first Keeper Clinic already which is great. I think we have room for another ten to fifteen. Some of the Coaches have volunteered to help out so we should be able to provide the players with a very efficient and concentrated learning experience.
See you on the field.
