NKYA Indoor Soccer Poll. What Would You Like to See the Organization Do?

With NKYA leaving Pleasure Isle Sports you may have wondered whether NKYA will continue its indoor soccer program and whether Pleasure Isle will still be having indoor soccer on its field. NKYA does have some options for restarting its indoor soccer program at another facility but nothing has been settled yet. In the meantime another organization, NKSA(Norther Kentucky Soccer Academy), is planning to run recreational soccer leagues out of Pleasure Isle.

Before the NKYA Board of Directors makes any decision about whether to pursue other field options it is important for us to know how many of our members are willing to make a move to a new facility. Remember, NKYA is a community organization and everyone who has had a child play in one of our leagues during the last year is a member. Your opinion counts!

In order to gauge the sentiment of our membership I've created a poll that you can cast a vote in by going to this link:

NKYA Doodle Poll

You will only be permitted to vote once so give it some thought before casting a vote. Thanks for participating.

I will update everyone as to the results right here on the Blog after about a week.

Late Update:   I've had a few respondents to the poll ask what the options are for NKYA to play indoor elsewhere.  Right now the only viable option is the facility at Midwest Hoops on KY 18 in Florence.  The field is very nice but a bit on the small side, about 80% the size of P.I.  This would be no problem for all of the kids divisions below U12.  The facility is on the whole very clean and well organized and when I visited there a few weeks ago I was definitely impressed.  If you are inclined you should definitely stop in there and take a tour.
